Accommodations are provided by the Eating Disorder Center of Alabama at Trinity Medical Inn, which is located in the professional office building on the campus of Trinity Medical Center. The Inn is within 1/4 mile of the center, and can accommodate double occupancy if needed. Services and amenities include a refrigerator, coffee pot, and daily cleaning service. A coin-operated washer and dryer are also available to guests residing at the Inn. Microwaves are not provided in the rooms, but guests are welcome to bring their own or use those located in the hospital cafeteria.

A variety of restaurants are located within a five-mile radius of the center, as well as a grocery store and other shopping conveniences. Other dining options available to guests include Wall Street Deli and the hospital cafeteria which are located on the campus of Trinity Medical Center.

Reservations for the Inn must be made through EDCA. Patients must provide their own transportation, and are responsible for all meals not provided during treatment hours.

Videoconferencing is available to patients within the Alabama Psychiatric Services network when travel becomes an issue. Videoconferencing allows patients to maintain communication with their therapists to ensure continuity of care during discharge planning and/or family therapy sessions. Patients who reside outside the Birmingham area and are not part of the Alabama Psychiatric Services network have the option of discharge planning via teleconferencing. EDCA's philosophy is to provide each patent with comprehensive care and convenience-based on the patient's circumstance.
